As many of you know, Reagan has a complete disregard for baby food and is ready to sit down with us for a steak dinner with potato. I believe it is linked to the fact that all baby food is typically served on a spoon, which she has not mastered quite yet and therefore refuses to participate. She prefers finger foods that she can squish and self feed with her tiny little hands and really make a mess out of. Until today. I thought it was the spoon she was avoiding, but maybe just the food on it - here we see Reagan overcoming her spoon anxiety and accepting plain old applesauce with glee - applesauce technically is a grown up food so I believe she is willing to make an exception here.However, still no peas, carrots or beans allowed (of the pureed variety). We'll keep you posted.
