A Conversation with a 7 month old...

This is usually how it goes.

We chat and then he gets distracted by important things
...like the carpet.

STATS: At Bracken's 7 month checkup last week he weighed in at

a sizeable 22.5 lbs and 29.5" in length

(95% weight, 95% height, 95% head circumference)

I was pleased to hear that he is well-proportioned!

More than just books...

Reagan's favorite activity at the library are

I think because she can do them herself.

The Jungle Jumper is a pretty loud contraption...
it plays music and makes animal noises at the

slightest detection of movement.
While we were eating dinner last week

Bracken was busy jumping about when

we suddenly wondered why all the

commotion had stopped...

A Visit with Friends...

Last weekend we drove north to visit some old ISU friends...

(emphasis on the "old" part - I think there were
more kids than adults at this party!)

I can't believe someone didn't lose an eye...

The last time we all got together the 4 of us were

pregnant in July... we look much happier in this photo!
