A Tasty Treat

We cherish our treats from Dairy Queen. Reagan just
couldn't make it to the couch and had to plop down in the
kitchen so she could enjoy her Oreo Blizzard.
(it was meant for us to share...)
A little cold, perhaps?
...and the sugar rush kicks in...

Cool Dudes...

Reagan is polite enough to lend Bracken her shades until
he gets a pair of his own (or until her daddy stops letting
him wear shades with flowers on them...)

A Conversation with a 7 month old...

This is usually how it goes.
We chat and then he gets distracted by important things
...like the carpet.
STATS: At Bracken's 7 month checkup last week he weighed in at
a sizeable 22.5 lbs and 29.5" in length
(95% weight, 95% height, 95% head circumference)
I was pleased to hear that he is well-proportioned!

Drool Monkey

What a busy guy!
It's no wonder he eats so much.
Documenting Mr. B's block time the other day...
Look at that belly!
I think this is proof that patterned shirts
are a fashion don't for a pudgey midsection...
Drool all over the place...but he doesn't seem to mind.

More than just books...

Reagan's favorite activity at the library are
the touchscreen narrated books...
I think because she can do them herself.
(we are upon the "independent" stage...)
Hey, handsome!
Notice those two teeth...very sharp.
This kid was cracking her up...
I think they laughed for a solid 15 minutes.

Doodlebug

A series of pen sketches by Reagan...
(the heavy scribbles represents
the animals "who live in a cave"
She calls this one "Reagan In Bed"
(who knew she was into self-portraits already?)
"Flower Lady"
(I think this is a nod to Grammie Carla!)

Sleeping on the job...

The Jungle Jumper is a pretty loud contraption...
it plays music and makes animal noises at the
slightest detection of movement.
While we were eating dinner last week
Bracken was busy jumping about when
we suddenly wondered why all the
commotion had stopped...
Here are a few more photos of
our little Jungle Jumper.
