Baby Smiles

Bracken is getting more animated and really starting
to respond to our faces...people say it is just gas,
but I know he is smiling for his momma! So serious...

Sunny Days...

With such gorgeous weather we have
been spending a lot of time outside...
Playing in the leaves and going to the park!

Halloween Madness

GO BEARS!
(You can see we decided to go with a theme this year...
the theme was this: whatever we had in our closet.)
Our little cheerleader not looking so cheerful
(we had just explained we were giving that candy away)
Waiting patiently (sort of) for me to
get Bracken ready and out the door...
Reagan exclaimed "Happy Halloween!"
at every door...we couldn't get her
to say "Trick or Treat" but she did
request that they open the candy
for her a few times...
Daddy helping out...
It was chilly!
Brian Urlacher tuckered out on the couch.
Sampling the goods while waiting for
more kids to come... ...still waiting...

Fall Frolick

After many days of dreary rain, today we
spent some time outside in the sun!
Look at this big stick, mommy!
Feeding Belvedire the stick...
Leaf Inspection. Pumpkin Inspection.
(they were devoured by the squirrels this year...)
Checking in on baby brother...still sleeping.
Kissing our neighbor's frog.
In the trees...
Ahhh...my favorite season!
(minus the raking - which is pointless until they all fall)

Sweet Kisses from Sis

Reagan loves to give kisses and hugs...
doesn't he look thrilled?Come a little closer...
I think the shirt says it all...
This is a bad picture, but it accurately captures
my point of view from the couch...
Bracken on my lap with Reagan racing
around making mischief!
Easy does it... our little (pantsless) builder.

More from around the house...

Giving us the "Doctor Evil" pose
like big sis used to...
Looking Smug.
Sleepy Boy.
Bucket Head.
Still Sleeping...

Pretty Pumpkin

In preparation for Halloween we decided
to carve pumpkins last week...
Reagan thought it was odd that we
threw so much of it away... for each scoop
that Daddy took out she put one back...
Laying out the template
(I bought a kit that was more expensive than the pumpkins!)
Trying it on for size...
Squishing the guts...
Admiring the finished product
and enjoying a snack.
Reagan said it looked like a big apple...
(she actually tried to take a bite...)
