This past weekend we visited my parent's house and got to spend time with Grammy Carla and PaPa Ken, Uncle Matt, Great Grandpa Larry and the fish at the chinese restaurant. You may notice the faded bruise on Miss Reagan's forehead after a challenge with the coffee table last week - the coffee table won - she is "cruising" (falling) all over the house these days... I think she enjoys making us nervous... but she is one tough cookie!
This past weekend we had some college friends in town for a visit and Laef & Allison brought Miss Reese who happens to be just one week older than Reagan. Reagan has more teeth than Reese, but as you can see Reese definitely has more hair... and they also happen to be exactly the same length and weight except for Reagan's extra 4 lbs... ;)
The highlight of the weekend was definitely the Children's Discovery Museum - as you can see below, there was much to see and do...I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the adults, but we just did boring old grownup stuff.
The best seat in the house (between the grammies!)... Entertaining the restaurant at dinner (with melba toast in hand)...Posing for the camera (such a lady!)... Sitting Pretty (look at my new bracelet!)... Playtime with Uncle Matt...
This past weekend we visited David's parent's church in Hampton, IL and had Reagan baptized. It was a lovely service and she did surprisingly well (even when the water was splashed on her head). Here are quite a few shots of her special day, her sweet little white cotton dress and both our families. We are blessed ....and now she is too! :)
Shy Reagan...Wait for it...There's that face! The BullsThe Haselhorsts
There is no denying Reagan's resemblance to her Daddy. As I was spring cleaning today and packing away some of our winter gear, I came across some albums that our mothers had given to us for our wedding - and found quite a few cute shots from our baby days...
I thought it might be fun to do a comparison and see what we looked like around Reagan's age... I am the smiling chunky one in the swing (with dark hair) while David is enjoying bathtime below - not to worry - these pics are G-Rated and suitable for work. :)
